Healthy Rhythms
May 23, 2023
“... until we’re all moving rhythmically and easily with each other, efficient and graceful in response to God’s son…” (Ephesians 4:13)
We often navigate life as if we’re tight roping between our yearnings to fit in and our desires to stand out.
Drift has us deceived into thinking these are mutually exclusive
To make matters worse, Drift has us convinced that the path to either requires us to be less ourselves and more like everybody else, which only serves to erode our authenticity.
Living this way is not sustainable! It directly conflicts with the way God has called us to live.
We’re called to live rhythmically.
Rhythm is a law of nature. You’re either working with it or you’re working against it.
God’s made it clear that he’s equipped us all intentionally for works of service, so that together our collective efforts might achieve some level of significance.
This requires us to be intune with what God has instore for us, specifically.
We can’t catch that rhythm if we’re too caught up trying to mimic everybody else’s moves.
Rhythm is a divine gift. It is how we move things from strenuous to effortless!
Establishing healthy rhythms must be the primary objective for all leaders who long to last.
