In case you missed it I spent the last two weeks reviewing 2020 with my list of the top reads from 2020 as well as the most read articles from 2020 on Staythecourseleaders.com
One of the most essential attributes of the Stay The Course mentality is the ability to forget what is in the past and press on toward what is in the future. Leaders who last have meticulously developed this trait in their life on every level - spiritual, mental, physical and emotional. We’re all ready to turn the page on 2020 and into 2021, but turning the page is only as good as what is on the next page in our lives. Change for the sake of change may actually guarantee more of the same unless we are intentional about what we are wanting to work towards. Here’s to leaving what we don’t want to carry anymore in 2020 and bringing our best stuff with us into 2021.
I’m excited to share some of the new initiatives for staythecourseleaders.com in the year 2021.
Stay the Course
I’m excited to announce my first book Stay The Course: Five Transformational Principles of Leaders Who Last will be published in late January 2021! I’m excited to get this book out as I believe it will help emerging leaders on their journey. We are actively looking for launch team members. You can join the launch team HERE to get early access to the book as well as other companion resources for yourself, your coaching staff, or your full team. Members of our launch team will be given early access for our live online course launching in March called The Higher Standard Academy.
Welcome Dr. Marcus Williams
The Stay the Course team is expanding in 2021 as I’m excited to announce, Marcus Williams will be joining this journey. Marcus embodies the Stay the Course mantra better than anyone as he is a former walk-on running back at THE Ohio State University. Marcus was a member of the Ohio State football team from 2006-2009, playing alongside some top NFL athletes in multiple big games, including the 2007 BCS National Championship game against the Florida Gators. Marcus parlayed his athletic experience into pursuing multiple degrees from Ohio State including his Doctorate of Physical Therapy. He is currently a Physical Therapist at the Ohio State Medical Wexner Center. You will immediately feel the impact of his addition to the STC team as he is a great leader and full of personal growth insight and leadership wisdom.
