Happy New Year!
As we turn the page to 2021 the Stay The Course Leadership Newsletter will take a little different form. Each week we will share some fundamentals of the Stay The Course mentality we’ve been exploring for over a year now (Scripture, Thought, Call to Action). Occasionally we will still publish some long form articles on transformational leadership.
Scripture: “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and discipline.” Proverbs 1:7
Thought: We’re all yearning for a different way. We don’t really even know what that way is, where it will take us or what it will be like when we finally take it. We’re confident it will be better, but not sure how or why. What are we searching for? Why does it seem to be so elusive? Where do we even begin?
What if fear is where we should begin? What if we leverage fear as a driving force that moves us to do the things we know we must do, despite all temptations to play it safe? What if we move in the direction that we are afraid of because we know it would be dishonorable to remain in our status quo?
I think that is what the fear of the Lord is. It’s the beginning of something bigger and better. It’s the life energy that activates our potential. It’s what propels a higher standard and fulfills our callings despite our reservations and insecurities.
Call To Action: Click Here and share the one thing you are most fearful of not beginning in your life.
