Envy and gratitude cannot be elicited simultaneously. Every moment we’re looking in envy at what someone else has we’re failing to steward what we have. 

It doesn’t matter where you are in your journey or how many moves you’ve already made.

The next move, which is always the best move, is hard to make. 

There’s really three things that Jamie had that allowed her to overcome self-doubt and fear. When courage drifts these three perspectives can allow it to get back on purpose.

To break free from emotional incarceration, we need to advocate for ourselves by first acknowledging that we are dealing with some hurtful issues. This is the first step in moving in a more healthy, helpful direction.

It takes courage to define the win. To create and commit to a future vision of where you want things to go. The full expression of your giftings and opportunities. The best use of your life to serve God.

Let us dream and draw motivation from simply living in a way that is pleasing to Him.

A leader must not only become very aware of their internal state, but learn the rhythms of altering and displaying dominion over their emotions.

The quality of your leadership is determined by the quality of your emotions.

Leading from a flourishing state is our only shot at leading in a transformational way. 

When it comes to ambition, clarity can be measured in what we accept and what we decline. When we lack clear “yes’s” and “no’s” it may be a sign our ambition is drifting.
